I don’t know what this is, but I admired this a lot.

Red Square was closed, but we walked through a very chic store in GUM to a cafe that borders Red Square, where we could see what was going on. Many bleachers were set up.

The restaurant where we had lunch, and what I had for lunch.

Amazing Nia, the architecture is totally amazing there, I love it.

I’m with Leanne. The architecture is so beautiful. I must say that I would be sorely tempted to clone out some power lines and building cranes from some of your photos though. lol

Hi Suz! It was unfortunate, but the busses are electric, hence it was impossible to avoid them except when I too shots from the hotel room.
We are in China now, and there are a lot of restrictions on the internet. I’m pleased I seem to be able to get into WordPress at the moment, but if you don’t hear from me for a few days, it’s just because of that.

We have been a busy little snapper Nia haven’t we? Great shots, there must have been plenty of work for bricklayers in Moscow. years ago you would never have got within cooee of Red Square with a camera. Looking forward to seeing your pics from China.
Cheers
Laurie.

Wonderful set from Moscow, Nia! You are doing a GREAT job! Incredible that you find time to do this during a fast paced trip! Wonderful to see the architecture of Moscow through your eyes, the old and magnificent mall, everything indeed. Have safe trips and a wonderful time in China. Take care, my wonderful friend! 🙂
