  1. I remember visiting a friends farm in 1976 up near Rockhampton and woke to find thousands of cockatoos roosting on every fence and in every tree. They were eating into his sunflower crop.


      1. Their house perched rather precariously above the Don River, the banks were lined with huge eucalyptus trees and they groaned under the weight of cockatoos. A magnificent sight to behold, except if you’re growing grain. 😦


      2. you can’t have too much cockatoos !!! over here they cost an arm and a legg ! I’d love to have some but I believe birds are made for flying not for keeping in cages !
