When our unit came back from Vietnam we kept our armoured vehicles at an old WW2 airstrip outside of Charters Towers. They have some of the most beautiful sandstone buildings built on the back of the gold rush there. Ravenswood still looks dead. LikeLike Reply
That’s amazing, Laurie! I agree, Charter’s Towers has beautiful buildings. Ravenswood has grown to about 200 people now! It seems like a pretty quiet place to live, that’s for sure. LikeLike Reply
