During my writing retreat last week, my critique partners and I went to the grocery store to stock up. I was useless because I started taking photos in the produce department.
Fortunately, my friends indulged me. Nothing like spending time with people who understand you!

LOL! I was wondering if anyone would ask! It’s called romanesco. It’s kind of like broccoli and kind of like cauliflower. π

I’ve never heard of it. I wonder what it tastes like.

A little more like cauliflower than broccoli, if I’m remembering correctly. I just took a photo, didn’t eat any this time around!

Hi Nia, great pics. Hmm, that is one strange vege, never seen one before. I think I can live without it. π

LOL, Laurie! I tried it once. It’s pretty tasty but then I’m into vege. But on this day I bought ice-cream sandwiches instead. Didn’t photograph those, though!

You are a courageous shopper Nia. π I just love ice-cream sandwiches and salt and vinegar crisps sandwiches and…. the list goes on.
