I love that people grow these. The couple came out of the house when I was snapping shots. The man was the gardener. He was pleased I was admiring them and explained many gardening details about what he had done to create the beautiful collection. Apparently if you plant too many, they don’t grow as high. He has another crop of starter plants ready to go when this crop dies out.
Thanks for the beautiful shot, Nia! Enjoy your weekend! 🙂

Lovely! Sunflowers are such cheerful flowers! When I think of summer they always pop up in my mind so would love to have some in my garden someday

Thank you, Janaline. They look like little suns to me. I’m glad you enjoy them and hope you get a chance to grow them. I might make the effort myself, come to think of it!

I love sunflowers, but I have never had much luck growing them. That one is a beauty.

Thank you, Leanne. I don’t know what they require, but seems like your hot summers would be good for them. I’m not much of a gardener myself though…

Sunflowers are just gorgeous. They are planted as crops around where my mother lives and at certain times of the year, the area is a blanket of yellow patches amongst the other crops.
