It was a little hard to photograph this vertical garden, which was in the ICON Hotel restaurant/bar on Kowloon (on the peninsula across Victoria Harbour from Hong Kong Island). Before this one, I had never heard of a vertical garden before, let alone seen one.
And here’s a panorama from a window, Kowloon in the foreground, Hong Kong Island across the harbor.
Fantastic garden, Nia! Wonderful photos! Thanks so much and have a GREAT day! 🙂

I’ve heard of them before, but that is the best I’ve seen, how do they water it?

Hi Leanne,
I didn’t figure out how they water it, but they must somehow! I’ll ask my husband if he noticed.
Thanks!

maybe it is a drip thing and there is a special drain at the bottom. It is cool though.

Thanks, Leanne! I think it must be something like that. I noticed there were two huge vents in it that the plants covered. I could see them when I was up on the mezzanine. I think maybe the wall garden was partially meant to cover ugly vents.
