Because of the unusual storms that happened this year in the Sierra Nevada near Lake Tahoe, some wildflowers persisted into August. I love the wildflowers up here, so I was thrilled to be able to take some photos on our hike.
I wish much success with the new book, Nia! Relax in a bit and enjoy the weekend! We are flying to FL in the evening and coming back Tuesday evening. Take care! 🙂
All the wildflowers are coming out here now, not something I ever took notice of before, but I love looking for them now. YOu have some great ones Nicci.
We have wildflowers in a pot and they’ve only recently begun to blossom. (We planted them late). It’s good to see wild-wild flowers in the field.
Wild flowers are tiny but with big hopes. Many kinds will flourish when they get tall enough. Some even in pots, but unlike wheat which is flour-ish, they never get ground down and cooked. In dark times they rest. Some find the sun’s love enough to grow.
Nia, You are closing the work week in super high notes! Thanks so much for these beauties, and I wish you and your husband a wonderful weekend! X 🙂
